Spring Tonic Herbs + Pesto Recipe DONATION-BASED
Coming out of winter hibernation, our body needs all the nutrients it can get! Spring, especially in the Pacific Northwest, offers an abundance of herbs that help provide those nutrients.
Join herbalist, Desiree, for a donation-based class where she will discuss 4 herbs that grow in the Pacific Northwest that you can forage that are known to nourish your your body. She will bring her Spring Tonic Pesto to try (DF & GF) and will send you home with the recipe to make your own pesto.
Time: 1hr
Cost: Donation-based; no donation required; however , if you feel called to make one, donation will be accepted at the Apothecary at the time of class

Desiree is the resident Herbalist at the Apothecary. She received her Advanced Herbalism Certificate in 2021 from Vital Ways Institute. She was inspired to become an Herbalist through her own health journey, receiving a B.A. in Psychology and traveling throughout the US and finding plant medicine in all corners of the country. She enjoys making custom tea blends for people, teaching people about herbal medicine and discussing digestion.
