Herbs for Tummy Aches + Tea Blend Making
Unfortunately, most of us have experienced the post meal tummy ache full of cramping, bloating, and gas. Sometime we know the triggers and sometimes it feels like it is coming out of no where.
There are lots of herbs that help facilitate digestion and ease any cramping and aching we may experience! Sometimes it’s as easy as sitting with a tea that is yummy and warm to help ease the tummy ache.
Desiree will cover 6 herbs and how each one varies and provides different benefits to easing stomach aches and to our whole body. We will discuss blending a tea together with 4 herbs (but you are welcome to add more at the time of class).
Lastly, you will get to create your own tea blend from the 6 herbs you will learn about to take home! She will provide some light nibbles and a yummy tea.

Desiree was the resident Herbalist at the Gig Harbor Apothecary. She received her Advanced Herbalism Certificate in 2021 from Vital Ways Institute. She was inspired to become an Herbalist through her own health journey, receiving a B.A. in Psychology and traveling throughout the US and finding plant medicine in all corners of the country. She enjoys making custom tea blends for people, teaching people about herbal medicine and discussing digestion.
